Hei!

Cobla on Taru Turmon ylläpitämä blogi, jossa kerron omia ja toisten kokemuksia asuntokaupasta ja elämästä Costa Blancalla.

Cobla is a blog maintained by Taru Turmo. Thank you for the generous feedback specially from the English-speaking readership, and that’s why the blogs can also be read in English in the future.

The housing trade has always interested me and I have gained a lot of experience over the years. I am more than happy to share my experience with others.

Ennen asunnon ostoa

Kirjoituksiini liikenee muutama tunti kuukaudessa. Olen utelias ja haluan nähdä ja kuulla kaikkea, mitä ympärilläni tapahtuu. Vierivä kivi ei sammaloidu.

Before buying a house

Before buying a house, I recommend getting to know the residential area in question properly so that there are no surprises. My husband and I bought a lovely house in the north of Valencia some years ago. The real estate agent said that the English language is good in this village, because some English football players are living in the village. We believed with blue eyes, because our house was so wonderful that the feeling took over and the reason left. You can probably guess the ending. During the four years we lived there, we did not meet a single English-speaking resident.

The village was charming, and the people were friendly. We renovated the house with love. It was impressive and full of interesting details. We respected its over 100-year-old history. In the end, the project became too difficult and expensive. We sold the house, but it still remains in our memories the most wonderful building we have ever lived in.

About life in Torrevieja

In my blog, I want to talk about life in addition to housing sales, e.g., in Torrevieja and in general, about all the coincidences and surprising twists and turns that can happen in Spain, both good and bad. I’m curious and want to see and hear everything happening around me. A rolling stone does not get mossy.

Sunny greetings,
Taru Turmo
