Finally came the official answer from the city. Our active attorney went on the spot and called the authority who handled our complaint. There is a ban on building on our home street so that no one can build anything in their front yard. In Finland, this would refer to some kind of plan change planning, but here in Spain, I don’t know how it is. Quite a strong answer, especially since now, with a closer look, has looked at what the neighborhood once built on their yards. There are different canopies and a couple of massive balconies. As such, I understand our neighbors when he appeals to what others have built. If someone else once built a massive balcony, why not me? A good question, but of course this other one probably once asked for permits from neighbors and used the architect to design the balcony and then apply for permission. It’s a small difference.

What do we learn from this? Find out before you start building. In principle, the neighbor has 2 months to complain about the complaint, but it seems that it means virtually nothing. The building ban has been imposed on the entire street and will be held. The fines will be paid until the structure has been dismantled. The amount of brick and metal that the neighbor put on the balcony is huge. In addition, he had already ordered the doors for the extra space under the balcony that he had used as a dining room. Upstairs, he has ordered large sliding doors to replace both windows. This exercise was not cheap. If they had been in contact with us, we would have permitted us and still, we would not oppose the installation of the sliding doors or the construction of the canopy in the yard. We’re not in contact with us. The neighbor is plagued by a clear Il Duce syndrome, reminiscent of the person in question. When he stands upstairs in front of the window and observes the environment, he looks like he says he is an immortal statement, ”Viva Il Duce”, ”Long Live the Leader”.

I have assumed that my neighbors have arrived from France, because according to my calculations so far, a total of six cars in the French register have been parked in front of their gate, but the number of residents remained constant.

Kaupungin vastaus
Vihdoin tuli virallinen vastaus kaupungilta. Aktiivinen asianhoitajamme kävi itse paikan päällä sekä soitti viranomaiselle, joka on hoitanut reklamaatiomme. Kotikadullamme on rakennuskielto, joten kukaan ei saa rakentaa mitään omalle etupihalleen. Suomessahan tämä viittaisi jonkinlaiseen kaavamuutoksen suunnitteluun, mutta täällä Espanjassa en tiedä miten on. Melko voimakas vastaus, varsinkin kun nyt on tarkemmalla silmällä katsonut mitä naapurusto on aikoinaan pihoilleen rakentanut. Siellä on erilaisia katoksia ja pari massiivista parveketta. Sinänsä ymmärrän naapuriamme, kun hän vetosi siihen mitä kaikkea muut ovat rakentaneet. Jos joku toinen on aikoinaan rakentanut massiivisen parvekkeen, niin miksi en minä? Hyvä kysymys, mutta tietenkin tämä toinen on luultavasti aikoinaan pyytänyt luvat naapureilta ja käyttänyt arkkitehtia suunnittelemaan parvekkeen ja sen jälkeen hakenut luvan. Se pieni ero.

Mitä tästä opimme? Ota asioista selvää, ennen kuin alat rakentamaan. Naapurilla on periaatteessa 2 kuukautta aikaa valittaa reklamaatiosta, mutta se kuulemma ei merkitse käytännössä mitään. Rakennuskielto on määrätty koko kadun alueelle ja se pitää. Sakkoja tulee maksettavaksi niin kauan kunnes rakennelma on purettu. Se määrä tiiltä ja metallia, mitä naapuri laittoi parvekkeeseen, on valtava. Tämän lisäksi hän oli jo tilannut ovet parvekkeen alla olevaan ylimääräiseen tilaan, jota ovat käyttäneet ruokailuhuoneena. Yläkertaan hän on tilannut isot liukuovet molempien ikkunoiden tilalle. Tämä harjoitus ei ollut halpa. Jos olisivat olleet meihin yhteydessä, niin olisimme antaneet luvan ja edelleen emme mitenkään vastusta liukuovien asentamista tai katoksen rakentamista pihalle. Ei ole kaikki muumit laaksossa
